it would be a wonderful world if?

...We didn't have laws,"but we need laws otherwise it would just be chaos".The ultra-elite don't abide by these same laws so why should we,the common man. It would be a wonderful world if we had no governments. Then, everything would be free, but we can't have that? That would destroy the illusion of paper money, which is worthless anyway. If we had free housing like they had in Libya?Until the US empire decided to destroy another independent country.
...It would be a wonderful world if lawyers didn't exist, then we'd have justice. Then anyone completely minding their own business, and when someone coerces violence against you.All you would need is one witness and you have the right to legally kill that person if they mess with you for no reason-Bullies beware! If feminism didn't exist we'd secretly realize that we're really tool-making animals and realize that all attraction is based on the physical.Oh yeah a great personality helps. What if we had complete free-enterprise and we're not under secret roman law.Which is law of the land.Read mary elizabeth kroft on that one. It's only a google search away. ..It would be a wonderful world if their were no slaughterhouses or zoos. Then animal imprisonment and demise would be no more.Besides vegans smell better too.So I hear... Eliminate all technology...What?Has it made any of our lives better?I've gotta admit I'm with the unibomber on that one(don't take me literally!),but I've grown to love computers as I love New York, and beer's taste.Being a taste, once you get used to-End up liking. ..It would be a wonderful world without the use of oil/nuclear energy. You don't play matchsticks with Diablo.Without gas or oil they'd be little/no pollution and very little or no war(s).Don't ask me what I think about marriage but love's another story.(Of course these are only opinions I have a weird way of looking at things!) That's about it.See you next week. r.a.f.

Dark Shadows

With the Tim Burton movie on the horizon. It's time this fan of the original Dark Shadows to explain to the public the difference between great, and mediocre(more on this later?).Mediocrity which nowadays is as common as a park pidgeon.
Nothing against pidgeon's or any animal, but where talking about America's greatest soap opera.Coming to us from the horriorfical, inventive mind of Curtis, not Tim Burton. The show, which aired on abc tv from 1966-1971 was a creepy classic!Sad news hearing of the recent passing of the wonderful Jonathan Frid, who played Barnabas Collins, the 150 year old vampire with relish! Being from new england,Dark Shadows originated from maine. As a boy I'd spent many a summer there.Recognizing the furious water crashing rocky cliffs as seen in the opening, eerie theme song.Staying in your mind. Do me a favor everyone.Nix the dumbed-down Tim Burton version and do justice by watching some of the many clips on "You Tube". The show had a fantastic cast! There were lovely ladies, scary horror, witches, possessions, werewolves, vampires, great sets, romance, and of course-action! In addition to the great Jonathan Frid.We had grayson hall as Dr. Julian Hoffman,Thayer David, the sultry Angelique/Lara Parker and the beautiful maggie, played by Katherine Leigh Scott, and David Selby as Quentin Collins, from "Falcon Crest" fame. The show had half-hour episodes, was on five days a week and lasted for five seasons.Later spawning two feature films. The House of Dark Shadows and Night of Dark shadows.Of course I'd like that one,I'm a painter.'House" was better as it had Barnabas in it! Creator Dan"the man"Curtis was the 70's Chris Carter,or the other way around. Also, producing "Gargoyles",the Norliss tapes, and Burnt Offerings with the immortal Bette Davis and hammy british actor Oliver Reed-A classic! Which on a lessor note brings me to the updated 2012 version of Dark Shadows.Which looks more like Broadway's addam's family the musical! In the new Tim Burton movie which sacrilidges the old classic and is nothing like.Jonathan Frid has a cameo in it.To which my friend at work said:"when he realized he was in it it probably too much for him and it killed him".Remember,he said it-not me! Have a great week! Rob (r.a.f.)
